Hey Guys!
Thinking of a fun creative tag I came up with this end of summer tag. Basically it’s a list of this summers trends and you “Yay” or “Nay” them and give a reason why. Lets get started! (And I tag YOU to do the tag! Link your YouTube video, blog post, or your answers in the comments below! I would love to see what you choose)
Makeup Trends:
Colored Eyeliner- Yay! I think coloured eyeliner is so fun and really perks up your look and makes it truly summery. I love using Urban Decay’s 24/7 Eyeliners.
Bright Matte Lips- Yay! I think this really gives a bold statement, especially with the matte aspect of it. I love Maybelline’s “Shocking Coral” lipstick.
Major Blush- Nay! Though many love the look of major blush I feel it just is too overpowering! It looks like your embarrassed or sunburned on the cheeks.

Winged Liner-Yay/Nay! I love the look of a simple wing because it gives your that edge that is perfect for summer. Though if you go too extravagant iLife two wings I cut it off there, it’s just not flattering.

Fashion Trends
Peplum- Nay. Lets get this straight. Some people look great in peplums but for most, it extenuates curves even farther, making them look bigger. So if you have a small waist, it gives the illusion of a bigger waist. Though, I do fee because it wings out it makes the legs seem longer.

Overalls: Yay & Nay. If you girl it up a bit, you can pull it off. But if you wear it with a white tee and a straw hat, you may think its “farmer chic” but its just farmer.

High waisted shorts: Yay! Since high waisted shirts go up more, it gives the illusion of longer legs, love!

Circle/Skater Skirts- yay! These are the perfect girly girl and edgy girl essential. Pair it with a beanie hat and cute graphic tee you look edgy and cool but paired with ballet flats and ballet tee looks totally cute and girly.

Maxi Dresses- Nay. This is a more personal thing. I just don’t like them! They do give the illusion of longer legs but you can’t actually see there legs. I do think its a nice thing for shorter people but for taller people, why give the illusion of long legs if you already have them?

Accessories Trends
Clear Wallets & Bags- Nay! Though they are cool & futuristic they lack one thing we all desire in a purse, privacy. Yes, the fact that its clear makes it easier for you to locate your phone, it is just as easy for a thief. Someone can see into your bag, spy your phone, keys or other items and take them. And plus, who needs to see your “feminine stuff”?

Headwraps- Yay! Headwraps have made a comeback this spring and I love it! They come in so many patterns and styles they fit everyone’s style. And there the perfect quick and easy hair fix for those lazy mornings we all have. My faves are the twisted Headwraps and Headwraps with bows on them.

Midi Rings- Yay! these are so adorable. They sit on the top of your knuckle and just add this cuteness and edge to your fingers.
