D.I.Y #1: Twist & Pin Curls | Before + After Pics

Hey There Beauty Cuties!

Today is the beginning of a new series here on my blog! It’s called “Tried it, and D.I.Yed it!”. Basically, I try a D.I.Y out and share it with you guys! Today I am testing these no-heat curls called “Twist & Pin Curls” so enjoy.

First off, I did not create this D.I.Y and am simply putting it to the test and seeing if it works!

First what you need to do it split your hair into two parts and keep each part on one side of the head. Next, twist each part (outwards or inwards, it’s irrelevant) and then simply pin them to your head (I used bobby pins) and sleep on them overnight! In the morning you should have some beautiful curls. Let’s see the results!

Voila! I adore this method. When I woke up, I simply removed the bobby pins and the twisted hair actually stayed twisted, so I simply had to remove the strands and then it was finished! It looks so lovely, and is quite a unique looking curl. Overall it’s a lovely and simple D.I.Y. But, the only kerfuffle with this method is that if you don’t securely pin the twists properly they will fall out and will not work properly, so consider yourself warned! 🙂
